News Kibbles For Hungry Reporters

()

This is going to sound like gobbledigook to anyone outside Fort Bend County. But If I were still an enterprising reporter in that locale – which I am not – I might be tempted to ask around about something called a Tiger Grant and the relationship it may have with Crabb River Road and F.M. 762 over near Greatwood.

If funding had been found to allow those roads to bulk up into four lanes somehow, from U.S. 59 all the way to the new George Ranch High School, including a strategic railroad overpass… Well, if that were to happen, what, I might wonder, would be the chances that a broke Texas Department of Transportation would want to come in and overlay the big, new road with a wildly expensive and unpopular Grand Parkway?

Would this mean the end of Grand Parkway Segment C?

Beats me.
