When What To My Wondering Eyes

We’ve lived in or near Houston for 20 years and, until last night, it had only snowed twice. I guess the third time is a charm, as they say, at least the kids thought so, even though the schools refused to close in honor of the 2 inches of wet white stuff covering the ground.

My daughter memorialized the occasion by gathering a generous mitten-full of snowball and putting it in the freezer for posterity. Hi-ho!
