Flowers For You

I added another gallery to the site today, with just a few of the photos I’ve made of the many hibiscus, plumeria and other tropical flowers found around the grounds.

The recent hurricane-induced flooding ruined some of the vegetable garden, and threw most of my fruit trees off schedule so that fruit and pecan production has been really poor. But the plumeria and hibiscus came through it all like champs. In fact, many of the plumeria are so tall now that I’m going to probably have to trim them back so they’ll fit in their winter home (the shed out back).

Luckily the cuttings that result from the trimming will grow identical plumeria plants. I probably better sell them on Craig’s List, though, as about the last thing I need around here are more plants.
