Typical Dirty Weather Trick

()

Sometimes it gets toasty enough around here in February that you’d swear they were all right on the money about that global warming stuff. And then, right after the bananas and hardy hibiscus poke up some new growth and decide it’s safe to come out and play again, we get this:

A 40% chance of snow, winds up to 35 miles per hour and a freeze to come later tonight. (Fat chance on the snow, though, much to the kids’ dismay. So far in her short life, Emily never has seen snow, and the streak continues).

It’s so cold and windy that I stayed in for lunch, put up the first blog post in five months and upgraded the site to Textpattern 4.0.6 for good measure.
